Rei running up to him like they're best friends and Minato just goes "cool" because it's really nice having somebody come up to you smiling and excited to see you. so yeah! Rei is great! Minato is teaching her terrible things but it's great seeing somebody who can be optimistic about stuff, who tastes his unsalvageable cooking and says she'll eat it anyways because he made it, who believes him about birds and wants to show all her friends, who he tries to get her to admit that not all ghosts are scary bc he likes ghosts and monsters and thinks they're cool. he's aware that she knows him and Souji and past memories are something he doesn't want to touch rn so he's never going to bring any of it up even though she's trying hard to get them to remember things, so... laughs, yeah, Rei is great to have around if they're just hanging out and not doing anything serious
