→ GENERAL MOD NOTES

Welcome to the sixth month of Cetana! We are now more than halfway through the planned timeline for the game, so things will begin to approach the endgame. Currently, we are on an off-dungeon month so we hope that everyone can take a break from November's heavy month and have a good breather in December! Please read these announcements carefully and if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to ask them in the comments.

⬥ There is a new set of requests from the Velvet Room assistants. As a reminder, unless specified otherwise in the specific request, there are no deadlines for turning in threads so please feel free to submit them whenever you please. This month, request 13 is due on 12/31, and request 15 is due on 1/4.

⬥ Due to November's dungeon being cleared, there will be no negative environmental effects from the Daitengu. The town will proceed normally and the townspeople will remain healthy.

⬥ The calendar for December is as follows:

→ SETTING CHANGES

⬥ The following characters have been dropped from the game:

elliexir

suddenlybees

These two characters have been permanently killed and will not be in a state of ego death, unlike previous dropped characters.

In addition, these are the following changes within the setting:

⬥ As of 11/03, the second floor of the castle is now permanently restored. The walls are decorated with similar murals as those on the first floor, with large open windows lining the outer wall and an abandoned armoury near the center. The stairs to the third floor remain broken.

⬥ As of 11/03, a honden now stands at the back of the shrine with a statue of a large bird standing on either side of the entrance. This honden transforms into a dungeon during the Lockdown with a main hub and numerous floors that represent an individual's worst fears and memories.

⬥ As of 11/03, the stone lanterns at the shrine are now lit with white-blue flames and the sign has been painted over again with white, but still lacks a name.

⬥ As of 11/18, one area of the forest, away from the torii, castle, shrine, and town has been cleared of trees. Instead, it appears as a giant hole filled with many tiny craters.

⬥ As of 11/24, one area near the castle, in a long serpentine shape, has been cleared of trees.

→ DECEMBER 3 - WINTER HOLIDAYS

On December 3rd, it starts snowing in Hirajiro and light snow will continue through the end of the month. The lake will freeze over by the second week of the month to be suitable for skating and snow will be piled up next to the lake for sledding. Characters can shovel snow for the townspeople during the month to earn some extra spending money for the holidays.

For the duration of the month, a holiday craft market is set up by the lakefront for people to purchase and sell handmade crafts and homemade baked goods. For artists and bakers, this is another good opportunity to make some extra money and for everybody else, an opportunity to find the perfect gift for Christmas or New Years.

Also by the lakefront, four "wish trees" are set up, with emas hanging on the branches. For every wish that's written and hung, the person is encouraged to take another ema and grant the wish written on it. Characters have the opportunity to have multiple wishes granted by granting the townspeople's wishes, racking up good karma which may be needed in the coming year in light of all the disastrous months everybody's been having. More information will be given on the event log.

→ DECEMBER 3 - GAME-WIDE SHADOW EVENT

Ichi will be running a game-wide Shadow Event for Rei, turning the hospital into a horror-themed dungeon. This log will be posted on December 3 and threads in this log may count towards your dungeon thread requirement of AC. We hope that you will all have fun, even if Ichi is dead set on terrorizing everybody every step of the way!

→ DECEMBER 15 - A PERSONA DECEMBER

We were going to have a nice and cute December, but Archer brought up the "time-honoured Persona tradition of everything awful and heartbreaking happening in December," so now, we suffer.

The second event log will encompass both Christmas and New Year celebrations, with some tragedy sprinkled in depending on the mods' whims. Don't worry about it and enjoy the holidays...
