red is completely more comfortable around animals than humans so he definitely relates to noctis on that LOL. they'll have to level up their social link quiiiiiite a bit before red will let noct kidnap his pikachu, but he can play around with pikachu to his heart's content while red just chills quietly in their vicinity. |Db he's also welcome to spoil pikachu with treats, although red won't let him eat too many at once because he needs to stay in shape! i doubt pet-sitting will be needed since he takes pikachu everywhere and he refuses to work a job like a filthy normie, much less one that wouldn't be animal-friendly, but if a situation arises where it might be needed i'll definitely let u know
