RO is one of Minato's favorites simply on the account that she gave him a stupid nickname and got him a boar haha The fact that she agrees with his ridiculous requests without complaint and gives him straightforward answers to his questions and doesn't make things complicated, those are all things he appreciates a lot because it makes things easy but at the same time it makes him uneasy. Minato goes around saying he doesn't plan on being friends with anybody but RO takes him to the inn and he's having fun despite her being serious about something serious, and he's trying to find that balance between being a friend and being an Attendant because there should be a line somewhere? he doesn't know. But what Minato wants most for people is to encourage them to be able to do things on their own, solve things for themselves because it'll mean more and they can be proud of themselves and he doesn't have to be a part of it— hence never helping out when they do things together and he can tell she's frustrated at him about that haha So he tries to draw the line but then she says she'll go to Mondo instead of him to fix her hand and he's just "haha cool, yeah, that makes sense" even though he was slightly bummed she chose the logical better option. I don't know. He doesn't know either so he's just going to be an Attendant and see how it goes.
