Souji is his best friend on the account of him being Minato's only friend, but it's something he feels like would never change, it's sort of like that soul mate thing where it feels like you've known somebody for forever except that's how it actually is, being together for ??? number of years and things always being comfortable around Souji. Minato tends to get bored of things pretty easily and likes new and exciting things but it's been forever with Souji and it's never boring. sometimes Minato is worried he's the boring one? but they were stuck on the train this entire time so Souji couldn't escape him and so he never really addressed it. anyways he trusts Souji a lot and likes that Souji lets him do whatever the hell he wants and he admires his ability to keep a smile on his face even when everybody around him is being a disaster and wants to see him happy even if, by the end of the game, the Velvet Room houses every single cat from Hirajiro, he'll live with it if that makes Souji happy
