Like with Kido, Terry only had one encounter with Akira, so this will also be based on first impressions. When they fought Shadows together, Terry thinks Akira has all this Persona shit down. He's the Persona-senpai--the Persona Sage. Terry gets some reckless vibes from Akira, especially when he left it to chance when they were being chased. That kind of thing takes guts, and he's honestly impressed. Also, he recognized him as a fellow bomb maker and for the sake of survival, he told him where to find the materials to make some. May those bombs prove to be useful in the future...

Also, Kido sometimes talks about Akira from time to time, so he definitely has a reputation for being reliable and knowledgeable. That's something Terry can respect.
