Name: Neku Sakuraba Canon: The World Ends With You
Blurb: Neku is a lonely guy who claims that he doesn't understand people. His world view has been closed off by his voluntary isolation and prefers to "do what he wants, whenever he wants". He has just begun opening up to the idea of trusting others and actually making friends again. He is an avid lover of graffiti and is always listening to music. He is full of sass and sarcasm but he does tend to care about others if he finds them to be nice enough. Expect him to totally make small dry quips about his recent discovery that he's dead.
Plans: No real plans but I'm ready to go with the flow with anything!
Seeking: Gimme any and all CR! Friends, Enemies, Romances, ect! People to get him to open up more! Offering: I can offer you a sarcastic boy who can either get on your nerves or who you will reluctantly love. He can be a voice of reason or give your character really deep words of wisdom. Maybe a music/art buddy or just a guy you can forcefully drag along with you for whatever plans despite his protests. Avoiding: None.
i want to say again just how excited i am to see neku around. twewy is one of my favourite games and i just love this antisocial boy, especially since you're pulling him from an earlier canon point!
i'm on the wrong journal but i have a girl who's super cheery and energetic and could try to drag him around. she will try to get this airpods-wearing protag to do things other than brood and just art/music things in the corner...!
I love TWEWY a lot. It's such a good game. I usually play characters post-game but I decided to just have him be early on because I'm a sucker for Neku making more friends while being a sassy baby about it.
I look forward to the two of them interacting! Should be fun. I'm sure she'll remind him a bit of Shiki so he'll (probably) be softer on her. Just a tiny bit.
yes! i normally also play character post-game but i've semi-recently played a character from a really early canon point and it was sooo much fun, playing that character development and seeing how it mirrors or differs from canon. i hope you have fun doing that with neku!
don't worry. she'll give him the teary eyes if he starts getting too harsh with her. unlike shiki, rei doesn't double down. she just gets really sad and goes for the guilt card :')
Neku is not going to know what do with a crying girl! That's certainly going to be quite hilarious to play out. I really look forward to their interactions! It should be interesting for Neku. And it shall be hilarious for me figuring out how Neku will react.

I love TWEWY so much too... I'm looking forward to playing with your Neku!!! Ryoji will definitely try to befriend him, but I feel like he'd get along especially well with Kido since he's calm and quiet and she too would sit around listening to music all day
I love Ryoji with my entire being. He is my sweet summer child. Neku will probably think he's oddly friendly enough but he'd probably warm up to him sooner or later. With Kido, I just imagine them sitting in a corner somewhere and listening to music without saying anything. A silent companionship.

I only finished it by watching a playthrough of the remix so I totally feel you. I was on the Sho boss which I rage quitted before I lost my DS forever. Siiigh.
