But she's also still keeping him at arm's length anyway because she doesn't particularly like people who aren't Blade Children, just as a general rule. She can't ever fully trust people because in her experience, there's just Too Many People who would kill her, and Terry is no exception given his powers and CONTINUED SHADOW PROBLEMS, APPARENTLY.
