UMP45/Itsuki Shimizu

45 is the Attendant Kido interacts with most, so she's always in flux between being the best and worst Attendant in that she frustrates Kido a lot but since Kido only talks to 45, she's still better than the other two haha... Kido definitely has that bias against being friends with an Attendant just because they're an Attendant;;;

But 45 still tries to guide her and that's saying a whole lot more than what the other two Attendants do, and is a whole lot more than anybody else in the game because 45 is the only one that pushes her to be better, not just in the dungeons but in other areas like leadership and Personas. Every time she talks to 45, it feels like she's being tested lmao but she appreciates 45 a lot because she's so active, and she's up there at the top of the list of people Kido trusts to get things done.

Toki thinks she's hot, and likes hanging around with her for the most part even if she makes him nervous sometimes. He'll never tell anyone she's a robot. That's about it.

Things Sasuke understands about 45: She is not an Attendant the same way Souji and Minato are, but she's still making sure to push them along towards the ultimate goal, which is good.

Things Sasuke does not understand about 45: pretty much anything else. He really doesn't know her well at all, and while heeeeeeeee mmmmmmmostly? trusts her judgment when it comes to the important stuff, he's kind of (unsure) about her otherwise.

On the whole, Akira is very much okay with Itsuki even though he doesn't know her exceptionally well. She has a tendency to come off as haughty, but he believes that she has some experience to back up her confidence and is altogether not a bad person, so it's fine. She's very coordinated and tactical, too, which is an important asset to the Cetana-dan because we can't all be Makoto Niijima and there's so many people here who are just fucking dingdongs. On a personal level, he's open to getting to know her better if she wants.

Jiro doesn't do well with physically strong and assertive women. He hates her for being able to control him that easily.

45 is Minato's favorite guest haha... Nobody else gets along with their Persona as well as she does and Minato's all "!!!!! somebody gets it" and she hangs out with him in the Velvet Room without making him go outside and she never gives him a headache. She asks questions without being frustrated with his way of responding, and she listens to him instead of pushing and getting mad... all great things. This whole Attendant situation is pretty frustrating for him because in his opinion, 45 and Souji do a much better job at relating to people and he just wants to be out there stabbing things, but this is how it is. He can only help people if they go to him first since he can't really leave the Velvet Room long on his own volition, so he appreciates the fact the 45 is out there proactively guiding people, sort of. Lots of people don't like or trust the Attendants in general and Minato doesn't help anything, so he's glad 45 is there treating him the same as always.

The other actual competent person around... Rio trusts Itsuki to know how to handle herself and others during combat, as well as direct them. She doesn't really have any interest in getting at all close to Itsuki currently, though she doesn't really mind her presence, either? Rio just keeps everyone at arm's length, so she's fine keeping things to business for the most part. She's got no reason to know Itsuki's past, since learning anything could potentially lead to questions about her own, so she's fine with just collaborating.

Itsuki gets the dubious honor of being someone Rio would allow to request bombs.

45 showed Rei the wonders of getting cute nail art and shared food with her so 45 is pretty great in her book. Niko will kill her slightly less.

Terrence Nowell

Terry's someone who's impacted Sasuke's life... probably the most since he got here! He helped Sasuke out even when he didn't quite realize Sasuke wasn't just an NPC (ha) and has helped him out all the more since by exposing him to ordinary life stuff and helping push him out of his shell and into things like... having opinions on music and whatnot. It's all very simple, but as he told Terry and his Shadow, those things mean a lot to him - his upbringing was so strict and isolated, and he kept such a distance from his classmates even when he attended regular school, he really hasn't let himself just Like Things the way most people do. Terry's the one who's been actively working to change that.

So- yeah, Terry's definitely his friend, this coming from someone who's historically really, really bad at friends. He'd do a lot for Terry's sake, and although some of it's because he feels he has to do what he can in return for Terry helping him so much, a good part of it's also just that he genuinely likes Terry a lot and wants him to be okay for once.

OH RIGHT AND ORIEN. He's not really scared of snakes since obviously the snake spirit, but also he literally attended art club with an especially grouchy one... he knows his way around them well enough not to worry about being bit haha. He's grateful that someone seems to??? be here who actually knows what to do about Terry???? since so many concepts of all that Terry is are just completely foreign to Sasuke. Orien seems smart and reliable and also cares a lot about Terry to go through so much for him, so Sasuke trusts him.

Toki likes Terry a lot, and is very appreciative of his help with the crows and other things. He considers Terry a friend even though he doesn't know him too well and thinks there's several Terrys running around.

Kido is really sad for Terry, mostly, because she remembers how he used to be and it's such a stark contrast with how much he's changed now, despite his best efforts to "stay the same." Everything that he's been though, it's stressful and miserable and she just wants to hold him close and shelter him forever so he doesn't have to deal with anything anymore, but the best anybody can do is help shoulder the burden. Despite everything he's done, she remains very forgiving of him because she believes 100% that he's a good person at heart, and that doesn't mean being selfless because she is also very selfish and she gets that. She has this weird relationship with Kano where she hates him in the moment but loves and supports him behind his back and it's sort of like that, I guess... Terry gets the brunt of a lot of her anger, but she loves him because of all the time he spent with her and everything he's done for her in the past— she never felt alone because of him, and she didn't have to worry about a lot of things because he was there. She just really wants to drive the point home that she doesn't expect anything more from him than to be there without running off or hiding or pushing himself to try harder when he's already trying so hard, as well as the idea that she might hate a lot of things and be scared of a lot of things, but she's still willing to do them for his sake, so he doesn't need to shield her from everything. She still hates that Terry doesn't tell her things and keeps secrets from her, but recognizes now that she never asks about things and she's actively trying to do better about listening and compromising, e.g. finally calling him Terry and getting a job and doing boring adult things she didn't have to do when Seto was there to take care of everybody.

August Terry reminded her a lot of her birth mother. idk where this fits in the above paragraph, but she realized this when talking about her mother for the first time in forever with Akira, and everything about her mother was what she loved and found fascinating about Terry when they first met, mainly their drive to live and enjoy life to the fullest. Now both her mother and August Terry are dead lmao

Orien is her best friend. He's the only one who hasn't pissed her off yet, and she appreciates him for being reliable and taking care of everybody in the household including 35 cats. Her one wish is for him to seal all of Terry's powers so he can just be a stupid normal human for the rest of their time here. She'll make that her Christmas wish.

Jiro originally like Terry, but then he went through Kido's memories, and that lowered his opinion. He was fine in the dungeons with Terry, but outside of that, Terry presses all of Jiro's buttons and he really has a problem with Terry not listening to him and backing off.

It took Terry having a Shadow for Minato to say they're friends..... Terry is probably the source of most of Minato's headaches, but it's because of how strongly he's connected with people that he drags everybody down with him when he's down, so Minato doesn't blame him for it. There's a lot about Terry's situation that Minato can relate to, but he believes Terry is much better with people than he is, so he doesn't worry about him. Terry is fun to watch... Minato is very content just sitting back and watching Terry do his thing, even if that thing is destroying half the forest and pointing arrows at his Guests. Probably because Minato's a disappointment of an Attendant, Terry's always treated him as a person instead of an Attendant and that's something Minato appreciates too, that Terry doesn't just come in to do a request and then leave, and instead tries to show Minato something new or talk about something different each time. He gets frustrated with Minato and angry at him at times, but he's always willing to come back and talk instead of walking away forever, so Minato likes that about him.

Terry is a complete mess and Minato really loves messes; those sorts of people just feel so much more real to him.

Sasuke Sagami

Sasuke has come a long way, and Terry can definitely acknowledge that as a witness. He's had so much development that Terry is really proud of him for, and things moved on from Sasuke being Terry's responsibility for growth to being an actual friend that he's very fond of. Sasuke helped Terry a lot, whether he realizes it or not and Terry's really grateful for him and his everything. His words that he spoke to his Shadow (redux) were really touching and it was one of the big reasons why he made up his mind to come back.

Instead of Terry being the heart of the team since he lost that due to various circumstances, Sasuke is doing a good job and Terry will continue to support him.

I forgot, but Orien thinks Sasuke is having a lot to shoulder and thinks he needs to relax from time to time. He's also thankful that he takes care of Terry's... everything. Also the fact that he didn't run away at first sight since he's a snake was a bonus.

Rio Takeuchi

As compared to Rio's cutesy phase, Terry definitely prefers normal Rio a lot more. Rio is also way too smart for Terry, but he acknowledges that and views as her as really reliable when she's up to the task. He also really appreciates that she just gets it, which makes him feel less lonely about the situation of having innate violent tendencies and wanting to kill everything. It's what made him accept his Shadow the first time around after all. He views Rio as a friend! He stuck around with her as a pom for her birthday so that she wouldn't have to be alone... and despite having to dress up as a pom, he did genuinely enjoy his time with her instead of it feeling like some mandatory pity thing. Can we handwave that he made her a cake and cooked that meal she requested, because he definitely would have done it a while back after turning back into a human lol

He also wonders if Rio is taking on a lot of things at once because she's reliable, and he won't hesitate to help her whether physically, mentally, or emotionally. Let him carry you as a samoyed.

Tsubomi Kido

Toki really likes Kido and she was his first friend in Hirajiro. He trusts her judgement on things and appreciates that she's been relatively patient with him. He'd like to spend more time with Kido when there's not urgent Daitengu business to deal with.

Minato Arisato

Toki doesn't have much of an opinion of Minato at all.

Terry is actually pretty fond of Toki, even if he feels like he needs to be looked after. He tries to understand what he's going through and attempts to help him out when he needs to, because he thinks that he's a pretty good person under... everything that Toki is. Just a good person trying to do his best despite the things the world throws at him. The fact that he continues on looking happy, even as a facade, is something he thinks is a lot better than being an obvious sadsack. Terry thinks Toki is a lot more capable than he appears to be, and he's still grateful that he stood up for him against his Shadow, even though he ended up accepting him at the end. Another point comes from the moment he still stuck around to help him post-torture in the forest. He's really grateful.

Once they switch bodies, Terry will most likely understand Toki even more...

Jiro Azuma

They started off... pretty okay? He was a pom and Jiro thought Terry was some demon or something lmao then they killed Shadows together. It was supposed to be great! Terry thought he was cool! But then things happened, and Terry, at the very least, doesn't want Jiro to hate him for reasons he doesn't understand, because, well. He still worries about Jiro from time to time because it feels like he's always trying to be alone(?) and while he doesn't need someone to take care of him like other people, it's still worrying for Terry. That's why he brought food for him and the cats. Shut up and take his generosity.

He also feels bad that his Shadow beat him down that one night, even if Jiro attacked first. Sorry you had to see his sadistic side manifested into a physical shadow lmao

Akira Kurusu P5

Toki doesn't have much of an opinion on Akira and will probably call him Ren again a few times. So far, he sees Akira as helpful and calm; as well as fun after the karaoke.
