Red is the McFucking Best. At this point, regardless of what size he is, Akira is ridiculously attached to him — but he hasn't yet figured out how exactly this is changing their relationship. He feels kind of guilty about leaving Red alone for so long to grow up on his own, and now it seems he's in the process of re-getting to know this grown ass adult man who a few weeks ago was two years younger than him.

When he was younger, both of them had a similar agreement of simply enjoying each other's company and trust, without sharing too much about either of their histories. Now, having missed even more of it, Akira wants to learn more about Red's life before Zero. And if Red asked, he'd probably be more upfront about his life too.
