TL;DR CR MEME

Pictured: current cetana team of misfits
It's that time again! It's been three months since the last one. Has your CR grown? Does your character have something that they'll never tell the other character about? Well, now you can type up a wall of text about all their CR from your character's perspective. Fun stuff. Go wild.
Comment with each character and other people will type up what their characters feel about yours!
Terrence Nowell

So- yeah, Terry's definitely his friend, this coming from someone who's historically really, really bad at friends. He'd do a lot for Terry's sake, and although some of it's because he feels he has to do what he can in return for Terry helping him so much, a good part of it's also just that he genuinely likes Terry a lot and wants him to be okay for once.
OH RIGHT AND ORIEN. He's not really scared of snakes since obviously the snake spirit, but also he literally attended art club with an especially grouchy one... he knows his way around them well enough not to worry about being bit haha. He's grateful that someone seems to??? be here who actually knows what to do about Terry???? since so many concepts of all that Terry is are just completely foreign to Sasuke. Orien seems smart and reliable and also cares a lot about Terry to go through so much for him, so Sasuke trusts him.

Kido is really sad for Terry, mostly, because she remembers how he used to be and it's such a stark contrast with how much he's changed now, despite his best efforts to "stay the same." Everything that he's been though, it's stressful and miserable and she just wants to hold him close and shelter him forever so he doesn't have to deal with anything anymore, but the best anybody can do is help shoulder the burden. Despite everything he's done, she remains very forgiving of him because she believes 100% that he's a good person at heart, and that doesn't mean being selfless because she is also very selfish and she gets that. She has this weird relationship with Kano where she hates him in the moment but loves and supports him behind his back and it's sort of like that, I guess... Terry gets the brunt of a lot of her anger, but she loves him because of all the time he spent with her and everything he's done for her in the past— she never felt alone because of him, and she didn't have to worry about a lot of things because he was there. She just really wants to drive the point home that she doesn't expect anything more from him than to be there without running off or hiding or pushing himself to try harder when he's already trying so hard, as well as the idea that she might hate a lot of things and be scared of a lot of things, but she's still willing to do them for his sake, so he doesn't need to shield her from everything. She still hates that Terry doesn't tell her things and keeps secrets from her, but recognizes now that she never asks about things and she's actively trying to do better about listening and compromising, e.g. finally calling him Terry and getting a job and doing boring adult things she didn't have to do when Seto was there to take care of everybody.
August Terry reminded her a lot of her birth mother. idk where this fits in the above paragraph, but she realized this when talking about her mother for the first time in forever with Akira, and everything about her mother was what she loved and found fascinating about Terry when they first met, mainly their drive to live and enjoy life to the fullest. Now both her mother and August Terry are dead lmao
Orien is her best friend. He's the only one who hasn't pissed her off yet, and she appreciates him for being reliable and taking care of everybody in the household including 35 cats. Her one wish is for him to seal all of Terry's powers so he can just be a stupid normal human for the rest of their time here. She'll make that her Christmas wish.

Terry is a complete mess and Minato really loves messes; those sorts of people just feel so much more real to him.

Terry, Terry. Akira has a lot of thoughts about Terry, and several of them conflict with each other. Before, he was able to treat post timeskip Terry just the same, because not making him feel weird or different seemed like the best plan. It's not the best plan anymore. What is the best plan, then? Akira doesn't fucking know.
For one thing, Terry's disproportionate power now represents a distinct threat, whereas before it was just a thing that existed. Not only does Terry have pinpointing (even if he's too dumb to use it) and like every magic item or god skill under the sun, but Vassago is a goddamn monster in his own right. After the Kido fight and Terry's subsequent spiral, Akira can no longer trust that Terry is safe, and he has become hyper-aware of the power imbalance between them. Akira wants to have the upper hand in any potentially dangerous situation, and being so useless when he came up against Terry only fed into his own insecurities about his lack of ability. (The ones that started back in Reviv where he was stonewalled constantly in his attempt to find a third option and save anyone, and only continued in Cetana when others are now surpassing him in Persona Bullshit — the arena that means the most to him.) Objectively, these are selfish ugly reasons, but they're still the feelings he has. And the part of him that's forcing morality is rejecting these thoughts, but also rejecting Terry for what he said and claimed to believe in.
HOWEVER. Akira's the type of person who reads a lot into first impressions, and Terry's up until November have been overwhelmingly positive. He has not forgotten about Terry accusing him of not listening, turning his back on a friend who actually might just need some help. He recognized a lot of what Terry was saying back there, too, as things that he himself has thought but never allowed himself to act on — and to condemn Terry forever when the offenses themselves hit so close to home is hypocritical. What's more, he just doesn't want to turn his back on someone he considered a friend, even if that someone is dead now.
Unlike Kido, he doesn't feel as upset by the betrayal, which is what he tried to explain to Terry. "You hit me and now I'm sad" is FAR from his problem, but it's the one that Terry seems to think is his problem. He doesn't exactly have the words to express his real problems, nor does he think Terry would really understand. He has no answer for how to proceed with Terry, and this frustrates him.
Things are complicated. Akira puts himself under heavy pressure to be a 'good person', but Terry presents a massive problem with no clear solution. And unlike in P5 proper, moral problems with no clear solutions can't just be sent to the boiler room.
Orien... he's not sure what to do about Orien either, but this is for a much simpler reason. The snake vored a guy for unknown reasons which is pretty fucking awful, plus taking him up on his offer of help means that Akira has to open up to someone about his psychological problems. But also he seemed really genuine at the meeting, and... on some level Akira does kind of acknowledge that he needs snerapy.

I can't believe this is one huge misunderstanding train with accurate thoughts here and there o)-( i feel bad for akira... he has to worry about so much stuff with his own issues too...

He's an extremely useful idiot when he's not nyooming off making bad life choices however, so it evens out to a neutral-positive-leaning opinion? She doesn't typically care if people are nice to her or not, but as he's someone who legitimately knows what her deal is and doesn't shun her for it, she does genuinely appreciate him for it. But she's also still keeping him at arm's length anyway because she doesn't particularly like people who aren't Blade Children, just as a general rule. She can't ever fully trust people because in her experience, there's just Too Many People who would kill her, and Terry is no exception given his powers and CONTINUED SHADOW PROBLEMS, APPARENTLY.
But even that's a slightly higher affection level than anyone else here, so. Good job?
He doesn't get bomb rights though, partially because she knows he doesn't even need them anyway pfft.
